Due to Saudi Arabia's role in the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi and its ongoing attacks that have created a massive humanitarian crisis in Yemen, the U.S. must end all military aid and arms sales to the regime.

With the latest firing of the Attorney General it's imperative that Congress do everything in its power to ensure that Mueller cannot be fired or removed and that the investigation will continue regardless of Trump's attempts to stop it.

Steve King is a white nationalist and should be removed from the House Republican Conference. House Republicans should immediately vote to expel him.

Send troops on the border home IMMEDIATELY!

Donald Trump sent thousands of our troops to the U.S.-Mexico border in order to promote fear and gin up his base during the 2018 midterm elections. These troops are now at the border for a political farce. Let’s bring them home!

Stop Trump's trampling on the rights of transgender people

We #WontBeErased. The Trump administration wants to roll back the legal construct of what gender is, to make it so that gender is defined as a "biological, immutable condition determined by genitalia at birth." This spits in the face of science, it spits in the face of every transgender person, and it spits in the face of children who were just starting to feel safe to explore their gender identities. Transgender people suffer enough bullying that we don't need it from the government too. Lawmakers need to stop being allowed to decide how Americans are allowed to define themselves.

Say No to Amazon NYC Tax Breaks

After a long process, Amazon finally announced that it will locate its new headquarters in New York and Virginia. Governor Cuomo, DiBlasio and other city and state officials must be held accountable for their favoritism in giving a tax-break to a multi-billion dollar company while our subways, housing and infrastructure are rapidly deteriorating. Amazon should invest more in NYC, not live off our tax base.

The current 7-Eleven CEO is doing everything in his power to target immigrant franchise owners who complain about the company's ruthless labor policies and intimidation tactics.

He’s a New Haven, CT taxpayer who worked in the same factory for many years- until the Department of Homeland Security told him to return to Ecuador 3 1/2 weeks before Christmas last year. Nelson has lived in a church in sanctuary ever since. It's been over 10 months.

Revoke The Legal Exception That Keeps Gun Manufacturers From Being Sued

Gun manufacturers should be civilly liable for the injuries and deaths that result from their products. Product liability should be applied to assault weapons as with any other dangerous product. In 2000, there was a rise in the same kind of lawsuits that hobbled the tobacco industry against gun manufacturers. As a result, gun manufacturers stepped up their lobbying, and in 2005, George W. Bush signed a law that shields gun makers from being sued. The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act is commonly known as the "Gun Protection Act." The law dismissed all current claims against gun manufacturers...

Add your name to the demands from Pittsburgh Jewish leaders to Trump

President Trump, your words, your policies, and your Party have emboldened a growing white nationalist movement. The violence against Jews in Pittsburgh is the direct culmination of your influence. We demand you and the Republican Party: Fully denounce white nationalism, Stop targeting and endangering all minorities, Cease your assault on immigrants and refugees, and Commit yourself to compassionate, democratic policies that recognize the dignity of all of us.

Assault-style weapons are the choice weapon of mass shooters as they have little recoil and are easy for those who shouldn't have them to fire, so they should be restricted.

The US has backed Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman by selling weapons and giving their consent to the Saudis war in Yemen. It is a humanitarian crisis and an ineffective war with excessive human collateral damage. STOP THIS WAR!

Donald Trump fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions after months of attacking the Department of Justice and FBI—and made Matthew Whitaker the acting attorney general. This is a direct attack on Mueller's investigation—especially because Whitaker has openly praised Trump's brand of right-wing politics and criticized Mueller for pursuing his investigation wherever it may lead. Whittaker must recuse himself from any involvement in the Mueller investigation just as Sessions had correctly done due to his own conflicts.
